我不否認這首歌詞能讀出女權的味道，但是這歸根結底還是一首愛情歌曲，是一個女孩表達希望男孩怎樣對待自己的歌曲。

下面來分析一下：

角色倒轉回來。

男友：你為什麼要吃醋，我又沒和別的妹子上床。

碧昂斯沒有回答，默默流下一滴眼淚。其實之前的劇情都是她男友做過的，不接電話不回家，和別的妹子打情罵俏。前面只是唱出了一個妹子內心希望男友能做到的事情。（我自認為可能是如果我是男的，我會如何愛自己這樣一個妹子。）
