如何用英文來炫酷表達各種「假期 」？

國慶節，中秋節要來啦，

做好放假的準備有沒有，

去哪裡玩好玩的，吃好吃的，

有沒有很激動，有沒有很興奮，

趁著放假之前，

我們趕緊來學學關於「假期」的炫酷英文表達吧！

1. holiday 指公共假期，法定假期

* 國慶節：the National Day

* 國慶假期 the National Day holiday

* 中秋節 ： the Mid-Autumn Festival

* 在休假：on holiday

* 去度假：take a holiday / holiday （作動詞）

- Im holidaying in Paris.

- 我要去巴黎度假

2. vacation 指停止工作或讀書的假期

* 寒暑假 summer / winter vacation

* 帶薪假期：a paid vacation

* 去度假 go on vacation / take a vacation

- I cant wait to go on vacation.

- 我好想去度假啊！

3. day off 指不用工作或上學的日子

* 放8天假：get 8 days off （國慶中秋一起過超棒）

* 請假：take some time off

- 請一天假：take a day off（如此類推哦）

- I was wondering if I could take a day off.

- 我可以請一天的假嗎（委婉而不失禮貌）

4. break 指休息，修整

* 休息一下：take a break

* 休息5分鐘：take a five-minute break / take five

* 午飯休息時間：take a lunch break

- 喝咖啡休息時間：take a coffee break（如此類推哦）

* 工作太累，修整一下：take a break from work

- 學習太累，修整一下 take a break from school

- 感情太累，想要分手：take a break from the relationship

* 口語：饒了我吧：Give me a break !

5. a leave 通常指自己申請的假期

* 請假：ask for leave

* 具體的請假：take ... 請...假

- 病假：sick leave

- 年假：annual leave

- 產假：maternity leave

- 陪產假：paternity leave
