莫妮卡注意到有一隻股票（MEG）和自己的名字近似，決定放棄廚師這種伺候人的職業，嘗試炒股謀生。
常勝將軍這次全軍覆沒，只好重操舊業。
菲比終於準備好同父親見面，卻軋傷了父親的狗。

倒是碰見她同父異母的弟弟，小福蘭克。
羅斯和錢德喝咖啡的時候遭兩個小流氓挑釁，對方霸佔他們的位子，搶走錢德的帽子，還不許他們再來喝咖啡。
不甘受辱的羅斯和錢德和他們到街上決鬥。
雙方商量好規則，不許動用武器，所以都把手錶和鑰匙之類金屬物暫放帽子里，
結果有人趁他們商量打架規則時順手牽羊。
於是四個人開始追小偷，表現優秀，結果把帽子追回來了。

JOEY: [in a fake voice] Uhh, hello Miss Buffay. I know wherenyour dog is. I want you to know that hell be returned to you, almost as goodnas new, within, within 24 hours. Uh, goodbye. [hangs up]
