On the English-speaking parts of the internet, if you want to share a song, there are a lot of convenient ways, such as,

link the music video from Youtube

link the song from Spotify

upload and link the song from SoundCloud

What are similar tools or services for sharing music in China?

Well, actually we got more than those before but some were forbidden for some reasons.

Whats convenient is that these developers provide localized services, for eg: share songs directly to WeChat/Weibo/RenRen... Most of the time we can play songs directly on those platforms, which means we dont need to open another app/website.

Share function on QQ Music clients on different platforms. Other clients also have similar functions.

Its quite easy and most of the songs or song lists are legal to listen and share. Pls see the screenshots(iOS version)

If you want the "easiest" way, then stick with 網易雲音樂 (I assume you can read Chinese?), they have by far the best user experience in all products I have ever tried. Not only for their website, their mac/android apps are nice as well. And yeah, it has good major SNS sharing support.

While I dont recommend major Chinese video hosting websites, 音悅台 and 愛奇藝 are some good alternatives. I would never touch them as long as I can access youtube though.

You can download some app from Internet ,such as QQ music,KUGOU,yinyuetai,which are my favorite app.

Similarly:

1 link the music video from youku/tudou etc. (my American friend just Baidu the music video he wants )

2 link the music from xiami/qq music

3 Usually, I use Baidus cloud storage(its like dropbox) to share music or anything I want to share. It also creates a link for people to listen on line, but more private.
