一步一步搞定雅思寫作（44）之科技進步

上周的雅思寫作題目可能是自暑假以來最簡單的一次寫作題目了哈哈~

Some people benefit from modern communication technology, but some groups of people do not. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this opinion.

這個題目的描述很有意思，本身就包含了兩個部分，一個部分是「有些人確實獲益」，另一個部分是「有些人確實沒獲益」，而這兩個部分都是很有道理的，所以這道題目寫同意是最佳選擇，要想否定的話反而難度大得很......

Brainstorming部分，哪些人獲益了呢：

1. 跟家人和朋友不住在一起的人獲益呀，溝通更方便

哪些人可能沒獲益呢：

1. 窮人還是窮人，買不起設備，享受不到好處

2. 老人家可能頑固一點，更喜歡傳統的溝通方式，不想接受新的方式~

正文部分：

第一段做個同義改寫，寫個支持此觀點~

Some people argue that modern communication technology brings benefits to some people but not all. Personally speaking, I agree with this opinion.

第二段講一下獲益的部分

To begin with, people living far away from family and friends benefit from the development of telecommunication. In the past, it was difficult for people to contact their relatives since letter writing might be the only available way for communication. However, with mobile phones, some applications and the Internet, it is convenient for people to chat with parents or friends online every day. Therefore, with the Internet and devices, telecommunication facilitates people』s interactions.

第三段去講窮人的處境

However, modern communication technology is not used by all human beings. In some developing countries, especially some countries in Africa, citizens cannot afford the expense of a mobile phone. Although there exists a telecommunication system, only the wealthy can afford mobile phones and Internet. Thus, the development of telecommunication does not bring conveniences to the poor since paupers are not likely to purchase and use modern devices to communicate.

第四段去講老人不想用新科技的原因

In addition, the elderly probably do not accept modern technology as other age groups do. It is true that youngsters and middle-aged people benefit from the use of telecommunication, but the elderly may be reluctant to use modern technology. Some of them may prefer to write to others since writing a letter is a more sincere way to express emotions. As a result, modern technology may not be promoted well among the elderly since the old are prone to the old-fashion way of communication.

第五段做個小小總結就好~

In sum, it is convenient for people to communicate with relatives and friends living far away with modern communication technology, but poor people and the elderly cannot benefit from telecommunication so effectively.
