你是高管眼裡的高潛力員工嗎?他們是從以下這4個方面來甄別你的!?

如何辨別身邊的人是不是一個有十足潛力的人?這一問題與其答案同樣重要。如果你是僱主或經理,你會想知道該更加留意哪些人,著重培養他們;如果你是僱員,你會想知道上司和管理層是怎麼根據你的行為(或你沒有去做的事情),對你做出評價。

許多高管之所以能做到他們現在的位置,取得如此大的成功,是因為他們具有很強的評估人才的能力。他們不會被各種證書和資質所迷惑,而是僅僅通過觀察對方在基本場合的表現,評估這個人的水準。例如,在我們公司,可以通過以下幾個簡單但很有用的方式,辨別哪些員工具備高潛力。

問出好問題

想要做好某件事情,你必須先明白其中的道理。員工一旦問出好問題,證明著他想要更加了解某一個問題或某一情形。這正是成功人士的一大關鍵特徵。

例如,在培訓我們公司新入職的員工時,我會首先注意到問出好問題的員工。問問題意味著你有參與的意識,意味著你在積極主動地學習,而且還獲得了存在感。大膽說出自己的想法,參與團隊項目,這是需要一定的自信與水平的。尤其是到了一個陌生的環境,你的心裡肯定會有許多疑問。所以,我擔心的反而是那些不問問題的員工。

會做好筆記

身為下屬,常常要輔助其他人的工作,及時作出回應。要想得到滿意的成果,你需要留意細枝末節,記下要點。經常記筆記的人辦事效果要比其他不記筆記的人好得多。

因此,我也注意到能記好筆記的人。這不但顯示出你的專業性和自律性,還能展現出靠譜的做事方式。然而,有些人在看會的時候只會看著你。即使他們看上去像聽得很認真,我卻懷疑他們能不能很好地完成工作。我總是教導新員工,在聽上司或客戶的話時,不要只聽內容,而是要記在心裡,去消化,去應用。我會通過員工是否記筆記,判斷哪些人更有可能完成任務,並能準確地、正確地達成目標。

認識到錯誤

在商界,錯誤是難免的,尤其是你想要達到困難的、令人滿意的結果。有資歷的專業人士明白這一點。因此,一旦出了錯,他們會做出補救措施,弄清楚今後要如何避免再犯同類錯誤,然後繼續前進。但要是不承認錯誤或做出一些解釋,上司或客戶會對你產生更大的憂慮。這會讓別人覺得:1)這件事對你來說不是什麼大事;2)你並不是十分在意這個錯誤;3)你沒有責任感。

承認錯誤能向別人展現出你是個成熟的人,能對當下的情形負責,還能告訴別人,你對自己的表現和行為是有要求、有標準的,你也明白他人對你有什麼期待。人們願意信任這樣的人,讓這樣的人承擔更多的責任。

擁有好習慣

對所有成功的公司、客戶或經理來說,「靠譜」都是非常重要的一個特質。決定要不要給予員工更多機會的就是這一關鍵特質。要想讓自己變成他人眼中的靠譜對象,除了聰明和努力,還需要有好習慣。如果你沒有好習慣,或不踏踏實實地、有條不紊地做事,你是不會持續地產出高質量的成果的。

有一件情況讓我非常抓狂,那就是有些人今天工作做得很好,可等到下次做一模一樣的工作,就會做得很差勁,就好像之前從未做過這件事似的。他們的水平很不穩定。但在留意好習慣、遵從好習慣的人身上,這種情況是不會發生的。這就是為什麼頂級的僱主會特別注意擁有良好習慣的僱員,並會珍惜他們。

當然,我並不是說,沒有做到以上四點的人,就沒有多大潛力了。你的潛力可以展現在各個方面,只是有些人展示地會比其他人更明顯一些。但有經驗的經理和高管可以通過你的處事方法,得到許多信息,它們能展現出你的職業成熟度、基本取向、情商和能力。

How do you identify who are the high

potential people around you? It』s an

important question to have an answer to.

If you』re an employer or manager, you want to know which people you should

pay more attention to and invest in their development. If you』re an employee or subordinate, you want to know how your boss and management view

you based on the things that you do, and even don』t do.

The reason many top executives are able to

achieve their level of success is because they』ve developed a very good sense and instincts for assessing talent. They』re not fooled by credentials and

qualifications, but can spot the caliber of a person just by observing how they

do things in basic situations. For

example, when it comes to identifying high potential staff in our company, here

are four simple, but revealing things I notice that immediately

indicate to me if a person is likely to be high

potential.

They ask good questions

There』s a saying, if you want to do something well you need to understand it

well first. People who ask good

questions are people who are trying to gain a better understanding of a problem

or situation. And that』s a key

characteristic of highly successful people.

For instance, when training new staff who

first join our company, I immediately notice the ones who ask good

questions. Asking questions shows your

involvement. It shows you』re more

proactive to learn. In addition, you

have a presence. It takes a certain

level of self-confidence and stature to speak out and participate in a group

situation. Especially when you』re coming

into a new situation, it』s the most natural for thing for you to have a lot of

questions. In

fact, As such, it』s the ones who don』t

ask any questions that I worry about.

They take good notes – As a subordinate, you』re usually often supporting and

responding to the instructions of others. To produce the desired result, you need to pay

attention to details and retain capture important points. Those who take good notes do this much better

than those who don』t.

That』s why I always

also notice those who do this well. It not only shows your professionalism and discipline, but also your solid approach to doing things. ability to

capture details and key points. Some people, however, will just look at you during an

assignment brief. Even if they look as

if they』re listening carefully, I have concerns about their ability to perform

the assignment well.

I always tell our new staff that the point

of listening to your boss or a client is not just to understand what they』re telling

you, but to retain and apply it. Taking

good notes is how I know which ones are more likely to complete the assignment and

deliver the objective correctly and accurately.

They

acknowledge their mistakes – In business, mistakes will be made, especially

when you』re trying to deliver a difficult or exceptional result. Experienced
