I recently watched Jack Mas movie,
"攻守道",
because a friend recommended it to me.
Afterwards, we talked about it,
and my friend asked me,
"How do you think about this movie?"
And I said,

"Of course, with my brain."
She thought I was being a jerk,
but I was really just
answering her question.
The problem is that she translated
"你覺得怎麼樣?" literally,
because "怎麼" means "how".
But in English,
if you say,
"How do you do something?"

It means "what method did you use?"
Like "How do you learn English"
By watching my videos, of course!
So we need to change this question
"How do you think about...?"
to "what,"
because in English, you use
"what" to ask about opinions.
Like "What do you think?"
So lets change this.

What
This makes much more sense.
What do you think about...?
This is very simple but very important.
Use "how" when you want
to ask about the method of something.
How to do something.
And use "what"
when you want to ask
about an opinion.
