Aston Villa and Leicester continued their unfathomable form to put them in a better position come the last day of the season. Neither are safe but with great performances last weekend from Grealish, Cleverley and Okore for Villa, and Huth for Leicester has given them a bit of hope for survival – something Leicester were only dreaming of a month ago.

Steven Gerrard received a standing ovation from the Chelsea fans following Liverpool』s 1-1 draw at Stamford Bridge. Gerrard revealed this week that he would have loved to played under Jose Mourinho but his strong love for his home-town club would have always prevented him joining another Premier League team. Just two games remain for Gerrard at Liverpool before he joins Los Angeles Galaxy in the summer. His final home game will be against Crystal Palace on Saturday and is destined to be an emotional time for the red side of the city.
