如何理解 Coldplay 的歌曲 See You Soon？

就字面意思來解釋的話這首歌和其他勵志歌沒有什麼太大區別，要怎麼理解都可以。

但其實整塊專輯，尤其是這首歌其實是Chris Martin 是在唱歌女孩聽的（不是具體的人）

我之前看到的資料是Chris Martin本事寫的是一個女孩被喜歡的人拒絕後很低落很憂鬱的心境，可是沒有回報的愛(unrequited love) 本來是就是正常的，Chris覺得她應該會懂這個道理，就寫出了這首歌，是說給、同時也是這個女孩的心境。他寫著寫著就大概寫出yellow了，這是靈感來源之一。

「 See You Soon 」這首歌來自 Coldplay 1999 年推出的 EP 《The Blue Room》。[*1]

是這張 EP 中日後被 Coldplay 在公共表演中演繹次數最多、最受歡迎的一首歌，尤其是重新在《Live 2003》中收錄後，更加受歡迎。

整個歌詞中主唱馬丁是在緩緩敘述著生活中當我們身邊的親人、愛人、朋友在碰到困難、陷入困境的時候，我們安慰對方時最常說的那句話「I"ll see you soon」。但是我覺得這首歌說的卻是恰恰相反的一件事，當身邊的人需要我們幫助時候，我們回答「I"ll be doin" my best,I"ll see you soon」的時候往往是「in a bulletproof vest,with the windows all closed」，我們在自己的窗戶裡面，關上窗穿著防彈衣去安慰對方，去告訴對方「I"ll see you soon」。這正是我們彼此間相互失去信任的原因。

所以歌詞的最後馬丁唱著「you lost your trust, no」，希望我們不要只是說著「I"ll see you soon」而未真正走進彼此的世界，真正脫掉防彈衣、打開自己的窗戶去擁抱彼此。

理解，個人覺得這歌愛情友情皆可。主要就是告訴絕望的朋友或者愛人，當他們受傷的時候，我會遠遠望著，守護著你，等你慢慢療傷。等你需要我的時候，我再來看你。但是最後，你還是絕望了，沒有接受我的守護。但作為希望能守護你的朋友，我還是要跟你說，請不要絕望。
