2015年，網上流傳了這樣一張照片：某公司將每年的12月26日定為公司的節日「毛誕節」暨「人民節」。有網友認為這是PS惡搞，認為作為一家已經擺脫政府輸血，市場化運作的集成電路（IC）設計公司，這種頗有政治挂帥意味的做法實屬多餘；也有網友認為是炒作。據此前媒體報道，公司CEO是毛澤東同志的粉絲，還會隨身帶毛澤東同志的徽章。
對此，該公司市場部負責人確認了「毛誕節」確有其事。負責人表示，「過毛誕節主要是因為企業文化，公司從成立之初，毛澤東思想就和公司結合在一起……對於『毛誕節』放假，員工挺高興的，就像過國慶節一樣的心態，在緊張的工作中放鬆自己。」

Mao Zedong or Mao Tse-tung (December 26, 1893 – September 9, 1976), also known as Chairman Mao, was a Chinese communist revolutionary and founding father of the People"s Republic of China. His Marxist–Leninist theories, military strategies, and political policies are collectively known as Maoism or Marxism-Leninism-Maoism.
A controversial figure, Mao is regarded as one of the most important individuals in modern world history, and is also known as a theorist, military strategist, poet and visionary.
學英語，「至死方休」
其實呢，學英語這事童鞋們還得向毛主席學習呢~
英語是當今世界上主要的國際通用語言之一，毛澤東以戰略家的眼光清楚地認識到了掌握英語的重要性，在1955年他就對人說過：「英語將來是世界語言，要學一點，會有好處的。」新中國建立以後，毛澤東多次提倡幹部學習外語。
1954年，林克(原毛澤東國際問題秘書)到他身邊工作時，毛澤東正式提出要向林克學習英文。但毛澤東並不使用英語教科書循序漸進地「上課」，而是自己設計了一種獨特的「學英文」方式：念英語文章，一個詞、一個詞地查字典對照著念。毛澤東那時熟悉的英文詞語並不多，於是先從閱讀英文版《人民中國》、《北京周報》短文，新華社的英文新聞稿入手。
毛澤東經常在剛剛起床，在入睡之前，在飯前飯後，在爬山、散步中間休息時，以及游泳之後曬太陽時學英語。他在國內巡視工作朗間，無論在火車上，輪船上，隨時都擠時間學英語。有時哪怕只有個把小時也要加以利用。
他創造的英文單詞一直火到現在
1973年2月17日，毛澤東會見基辛格。談話中基辛格問：「主席現在正學英文嗎？」毛澤東回答：「我聽說外面傳說我正在學英文，我不在意這些傳聞，它們都是假的，我認識幾個英文單字，但不懂文法。」
基辛格也不放過任何一個恭維毛澤東的機會：「主席發明了一個英文字。」對此毛澤東爽快地承認了：「是的，我發明了一個英文辭彙——Paper-Tiger。」基辛格馬上對號入座：「紙老虎。對了，那是指我們。」賓主大笑。
紙老虎，一詞是比喻外強中乾的人（英文：Paper-Tiger），由於毛澤東主席多次的使用，已經變成了家喻戶曉的俗語了。
