滑鼠什麼時候開始有了滾輪？

按照我個人印象，滾輪是自98年前後，隨著互聯網的普及和IE的捆綁一併開始在全球範圍內普及開來的。

根據維基，世界上第一個滑鼠滾輪是日本NTT和瑞士ETH Zürich聯合開發的，產品名叫Mighty Mouse（和蘋果後來的產品一樣），滾輪在側面。可惜找不到圖了。

之後，蘋果開發了相似的滾輪在側面的滑鼠，並申請了專利（https://www.google.com/patents/US5313230），可以看到當時的滾輪是這個感覺的：

之後，1995年台灣KYE Systems（昆盈企業）開發了第一款現在意義上的滾輪滑鼠，Genius EasyScroll。長這樣：

再之後，1996年（維基上的年份引用似乎是錯誤的）微軟發布了第一款IntelliMouse（Microsoft Announces Microsoft IntelliMouse），配合Office 97開始支持滾動，終於將滾輪推廣開來成為滑鼠的標配。

n 1995 Mouse Systems, owned by KYE since 1990, produced the world"s first mouse with a scroll wheel. It sold as Mouse Systems ProAgio and Genius EasyScroll under Kye. With the wheel in between the two front buttons you could surf the Net without using the scroll bar, for $49.99. Apparently it wasn"t marketed aggressively so it made no waves. Microsoft seized the idea and marketed the concept as part of their IntelliMouse? in 1996.
The first scroll mouse for the PC boasts five buttons and the ProAgio model wears the Mouse Systems double mouse logo on its top. It connects to the PC with a PS/2 plug.
The five buttons and the ribbed edges fit pleasantly in the hand with tactile bumps on the left button and a scroll wheel in the middle on top, much wider than later iterations. The reference to Combo in its name must be the scroll wheel which responds to pressing as a button as well as scrolling up or down by rolling it. The thumb operates a thin strip button on the side. Presumably, you can designate the buttons" functions with the software.

The mouse uses optical mechanical technology at 400 DPI, with its ball tracking exactly in the middle.

微軟先搗鼓出來了滑鼠右鍵，又搞出來了滑鼠滾輪。

微軟在1996年推出了Mouse V2.0,在滑鼠上添加了獨特的滾輪，正式把滾輪滑鼠推廣開來。
