ARM 架構的安卓手機可以安裝 Windows 8 RT（ARM版） 版本的系統嗎？

可以肯定的是，無法安裝正版的 Windows 8 RT 系統，因為 Windows 8 RT 沒有零售版，也不提供直接安裝的途徑。

Windows RT is the newest member of the Windows family – also known as Windows on ARM or WOA, as we』ve referred to it previously. This single edition will only be available pre-installed on PCs and tablets powered by ARM processors and will help enable new thin and lightweight form factors with impressive battery life.

當然，在解決了引導模式和周邊驅動的前提下，依然是有可能安裝上 Windows 8 RT 的。

WinRT 仍在開發中，所以我說的一切都有被驗證為錯誤的可能。

結論是，基本上不可行。

一方面是微軟並不願意推出可裁減以適應不同CPU（ARM）的內核，

另一方面是 ARM否架構自身的原因。

先說微軟這邊。

根據如下兩篇文章：

第一篇文章中提及：

「WOA PCs are still under development and our collective goal is for PC makers to ship them the same time as PCs designed for Windows 8 on x86/64. These PCs will be built on unique and innovative hardware platforms provided by NVIDIA, Qualcomm, and Texas Instruments, with a common Windows on ARM OS foundation—all running the same Windows OS binaries, a unique approach for the industry. PC manufacturers are hard at work on PCs designed from the ground up to be great and exclusively for WOA.」

這說明WOA（WinRT的正式名稱）將會運行在某一套特殊設計、遵循某一標準的基於 ARM 的個人電腦中。

也即，WOA將會只有一個版本，針對一種內核。

再說 ARM 這邊。

ARM 首先是個公司，而不是指令集。我們說 ARM 往往是代指由不同公司生產的，使用不同版本 ARM 指令集、不同架構、不同硬體結構的一類移動晶元。

就指令集來說，目前使用較多的 ARMv6、ARMv7 兩個指令集。

就架構來說，有ARM9、ARM11、Cortex-A8 等幾種架構。

就硬體結構來說，不同架構產品又可以通過擴展核心外設（類似Core內核集成顯卡一樣，ARM可以集成的不僅有顯卡），來達到不同的市場細分目的。

因此，對於ARM來說，只有一個操作系統內核是不夠的，就好像不同安卓之間不能直接刷機一樣，不同的 ARM CPU 也要安裝不同的 WOA。

但是，與開源的 Android 不同，微軟不會提供代碼。

所以，基本不可行。

理論上肯定沒有問題，就是驅動么，不過ARM分很多種，而且鑒於微軟和高通的合作關係，應該是高通的CPU裝Win RT比較容易些。
