為什麼lady gaga的《hair》中要使用薩克斯？

嗯，謝謝邀請，我以為我一隻初中狗混知乎會一直扮小透明的呢，誰能想到竟然還有人要請本寶寶呢。

雖然我是鱉屎不假，但我對鱉鱉的熱愛主要還是在對其偉大人格和崇高精神的仰慕上，對樂理，音樂，專輯這方面幾乎毫無研究。而且誰能想到本鱉屎入坑不是因為The Fame和The Fame Monster，亦或Born This Way，而是ARTPOP和Cheek to Cheek呢~

During an interview with Ryan Seacrest on his radio program On Air With Ryan Seacrest, Gaga described "Hair" as an up-tempo club record, with Bruce Springsteen overtones to it. She also revealed the involvement of Clarence Clemons playing sax on the record.[13][14]
Other influences included metal bands like Kiss and Iron Maiden on the melody.[13]

She revealed some of the lines of the song on Seacrest"s show, "This is my prayer, that I"ll die living just as free as my hair", adding that the composition of "Hair" was interesting since it was juxtaposing saxophone with a dance record.[13]
In an interview with radio station Z-100 she added, "Some of those themes are explored more on this album. To put my money where my mouth is."[6]
Gaga"s references for the saxophone solo was the music of E Street Band and Bruce Springsteen; to her they represented a different genre of music, at the same time encompassing all the different elements of it.[15]
She ultimately decided to ask Clemons from E Street Band to play the instrument.

另，個人覺得這首歌中的薩克斯元素並不是特彆強烈，起碼並沒有The Edge of Glory中的那樣強烈。The Edge of Glory中的薩克斯演奏者和Hair的是一樣的，都是E Street Band的成員Clarence Clemons，而且兩曲中的薩克斯出現也好像都是為了歌曲轉入下一部分，我覺得可能也有出於專輯整體性的考量。

總結一下，原因可能有兩點：1.嘗試不同的音樂風格，這也一直是GAGA的野心和追求，2.為了保持專輯的整體性，加入相同的元素。

另，這位薩克斯演奏家Clarence Clemons在GAGA與其合作的The Edge of Glory的MV釋出2天後，也就是2011年的6月18日因中風不治而逝世。R.I.P.

另，我也真的不感覺有什麼不和諧，如果你能接受The Edge of Glory，我想你應該也能接受Hair~

薩克斯這一元素在這兩首歌曲中的運用個人覺得和小號差不多。
