劇里對這首歌的筆墨不多，但是書里貫穿了提利昂-雪伊這條線。

一個叫銀舌西蒙的歌手編了這首歌(西蒙, 冰火中文維基鏈接)，「hands of gold」是暗示提利昂當時的首相身份，他威脅把提利昂和雪伊的關係告訴瑟曦或者泰溫（泰溫明令禁止提利昂帶妓女去君臨），西蒙因此向提利昂勒索一筆巨額封口費，但是因為吃相太難看，提利昂忍無可忍，最後讓波隆去宰了他。

最後，當提利昂在父親的床上一邊勒死雪伊、一邊流淚的時候，唱的就是這首歌（我沒記錯的話劇里沒有唱歌這段）：

勒死雪伊的正是父親的首相項鏈，一串金手，對應「hands of gold」

這首歌名是 Hands of Gold. 在答主看來, 它是 Jaime 不是 Valonqar 的證據.

就像前面 @Endsey Xu 回答中提到的, 這首歌在 Tyrion 和 Shae 的感情線中意義非凡. 歌曲的作者 Symon Silver Tongue 在 Tyrion 私藏 Shae 的宅子中偶遇, 並認出了 Tyrion, 從而知曉了二人的私情. 最初, Symon 答應 Tyrion 保守秘密, 而深知人性的 Tyrion 一直有滅口的想法, 只不過良心上有些掙扎. 後來 , 因為 Symon 想去參加 Joffrey 婚宴上的 tournament of singers, 以傳唱這首歌要挾 Tyrion 幫他安排, Tyrion 也就順勢讓 Bronn 解決了Symon.

歌曲的原詞是這樣的:

Tyrion 在受審面對 Shae 的指證, 以及最後勒死 Shae 時, 都想起了這首歌. 在原著中, Tyrion 用來勒死 Shae 的正是 Tywin 的 hand"s chain (像下圖那樣金項圈), 對應了最後一句歌詞 " for hands of gold are always cold..."

所以, 這首歌可以說是對 Tyrion 和 Shae 之間悲劇的總結. 但它同時也很容易讓人聯想到 Jaime 和 Cersei ---Cersei 是 Jaime 的 "secret treasure, shame and bliss," Jaime 為了 Cersei 犧牲了權位 ("a chain and a keep"), 並且 Jaime 也恰巧有一個 "hand of gold."
