關於英語原著閱讀的疑惑(非英語專業)？

上學期期末開始接觸的原著，the kite runner,看的迷迷糊糊的，後來被改編的電影壞了心情，看到三百頁就扔到一邊了。
當時剛好開始接觸到冰與火之歌的美劇，連續兩個夜機（夜機還帶著作業，遍寫遍下，第二天交作業）下載，緊接著一口氣
刷完了四季，大呼不夠癮。於是晚上買了冰與火之歌的全套原版小說，七本，300塊，30公分厚啊！出於對錢的心態和小說的興趣，決定啃這種漢語方面都沒有啃過的大磚頭。
prologue，貌似十頁，我前前後後翻了五次才看完，發現英文不是太難（題主開學來發現六級沒過），劇情很有意思，所以就繼續下去了。整個寒假，整完倆本，開學後已每周一本的速度整完其他五本。閱讀速度略有提高，從剛開始的每小時十頁到後面每小時十五六頁，有時甚至二十頁。小說看得那叫一個爽（透析法用的比較徹底，遇到生單詞基本不查，太懶;小說太好看）。一個月前刷完整套磚頭。

那麼問題來了，1和別人聊起劇情，對於讀英文版的我來說，劇情就像是特別精彩的夢，醒來後也就忘的差不多了。這個怎麼辦？還是剛開始都是這種狀況，或者是我閱讀過猛所致？ 2有時想用英文給別人講講冰與火之歌，感覺有心無力啊！題主口語不算特別差，日常口語對話無壓力。
讀的是英文，不能和中文的聊劇情，不能用英語講劇情，和別人聊起冰與火之歌只有一句話:我看完了全套英文版（一種深深的裝逼感。）求各位支個招。

沒看過冰與火之歌，不會去看，我有毛病，越流行越不想看。

我還有強迫症，無法不查不背每個單詞的音標意思，一輩子沒讀完過一本英文原著。基本讀了一頁就放棄。但是不妨礙我托福拿高分，也不妨礙我GRE沒做過一個題沒背過一個單詞去裸考。

我最近在讀美國歷史裡面的大案系列，當然是中文的，讀完我就會去找老外討論或者寫東西，還會搜索相關檔案，我不會一路一直往前面讀的。

我讀東西很慢，但是基本到可以交流為止我才會停。

學外語目的就是交流，其他都沒這個目的重要。

六級沒過還說日常對話沒問題…多少人專八過了口語還一團糟呢

1.看任何書，都建議做做讀書筆記，英文版更需要

2.看完記得思考，要去想想我看了些什麼，學了些什麼

3.看書是為了愉悅自己，不是為了刷數量哦

4.題主說看完就忘了，個人覺得有兩個原因，一是這本書你可能真的不敢興趣，二是你真的是稀里糊塗看完了。所以你沒有印象。這就回到了前面123點了。

5 如果要看英文原版書，建議從一些低難度有故事情節的入手，慢慢轉向高難度的。還要培養自己一目十行（當然有誇張）的能力。不要糾結於某個詞而影響閱讀速度。看多了，閱讀水平自然就會上去。

6.惡魔的奶爸說的也很對，等題主數量達到一定的數目，可能也不會提這個問題了。總之，加油看吧。

比如讀了Lord of the rings，我發現哈利波特系列大量借鑒了裡面的點子和元素。

讀了Autumn in the heavenly kingdom
by Stephen Platt，對曾國藩的湘軍有了全新的認識。很多中文著作都把湘軍的以老鄉為基本單元的組織架構吹到天上去了，說這樣很有戰鬥力云云。這部著作裡面說了實話，清朝漢人武裝的戰鬥力奇差，很多人蔘了軍馬上逃跑。找老鄉進軍隊，知根知底，根本逃不掉，逃回去了，也能被抓回來。

以前總覺得莎士比亞的羅密歐和朱麗葉因為誤會自殺的結局太悲催了，現實中不可能出現。讀了Cleopatra: a life. by Stacy Schiff才發現，安東尼和埃及豔后就是因為類似的誤會相繼了斷的。原來莎士比亞一定是受了這兩人傳奇的啟發才寫出了這個結尾。

剛開始看大量英文都這樣，據我猜測是因為大腦主要用於理解英語了，就沒有多餘的能力去記住英語的內容了。最有效的方式就是在旁邊記筆記，哪裡很精彩哪裡貌似有問題，在樓主的語境里，就是哪裡可以用來跟人交流，哪裡可以用來裝13，恩~

當讀到一定程度，大腦不用再將主要能力分配給理解英語時，你就有多餘的能力記住你讀的內容啦 (*^__^*)

P.S. 題主一個月刷完這些書非常厲害了~我的問題是，題主能保持這個速度多長時間？為什麼我一小時讀20頁後，後面一小時就難以集中注意力了乃？很費解。。。

因為英語名詞太多，所以刷原文小說的效率太低。別人耍幾百個關鍵詞，30歲不到就成海龜或技術移民了。你卻把關鍵詞放在一邊。刷那幾十萬個容易忘的名詞。太吃虧了。當然，你有無聊，又沒有出國發達的目標，就打算一般的過下去。也無所謂。男的耗的起，女的把大好年華費在幾本商業小說里，也太吃虧了。

1.沒有別的意思，但是「日常對話」絕不僅限於問一句「how are you", 回答一句"I"m fine, thank you"。我認為「日常交流沒問題」代表著你能將自己所有想表達的東西順暢無阻地用英語表達出來，並且能被外國人理解，這樣的「日常交流沒問題」才能叫做「口語好」。當然如果題主已經達到了我所說的標準就無視這一段吧～

2.讀和說完全不是一回事，讀完不代表你能毫無障礙地複述出來。理解比應用要簡單得多，只要明白每個單詞怎麼用，了解基本的語法就行了。但如果真的讓我們自己去創造句子，我們需要明白每個單詞應該在哪種特定的語境下使用，需要了解更高級的語法才能避免不知不覺的錯誤。

3.無法用中文表達，應該是你沒有很好的記住劇情。我覺得可能是你看得太快了。。。遙想答主第一次考托福的時候，答主這個渣渣為了做完題，做閱讀的時候簡直做出了人生最快的速度，剛好卡著時間把題做完，最後出分竟然還不錯。但是剛出考場的時候同學問我閱讀考了啥，我想了想，我也不知道考的啥，全特么忘乾淨了

再說你的英語六級都沒有過，你不背單詞看什麼原著呢！你以為能提高多少？妄想!老老實實背單詞，別和我說你全部都認識!
