英國和美國人有哪些耳熟能詳的詩句？

一種是像「舉頭望明月低頭思故鄉」這類幾乎人人都能脫口而出的，另一種是像「君不見黃河之水天上來奔流到海不復回」這類受到過一定教育的人都聽說過的，這兩種能分別介紹一下么？（例子可能不是很恰當，但意到就行了，望見諒）

英語裡面很多耳熟能詳的詩句來自《聖經》，來自莎士比亞的戲劇。莎士比亞的所有戲劇都是用五音步抑揚格寫成的無韻體，都是verse.

比如來自Hamlet的，

To be or not to be, that is the question!

Frailty, thy name is woman!

又比如As You Like It裡面的

The world"s a stage, and all the men and women merely players.

來自《聖經》的比如：

For everything there is a reason.

當然，也有很多來自詩人的。

比如莎士比亞的十四行詩：Shall I compare thee to a summer"s day, thou are more lovely and temperate.

比如玄學派詩人Jone Donne: Death be not proud, though some have called thee mighty and dreadful.

比如弗羅斯特：I took the road less traveled by, and that has made all the difference.

比如艾略特：April is the cruelest season.

比如雪萊: if winter comes, can spring be far behind.

比如惠特曼: captain oh my captain.

比如彭斯：my love is like a red red rose.

比如狄金森: I am nobody. Who are you?

還有不太知名的Wilcox: Laugh and the world laughs with you. Weep and you weep alone.
