鍵盤腕托能起到保護手腕的作用嗎?


用腕托會壓迫手腕處的神經和血管。正確的做法是,打字的時候手和手臂不依靠在任何物體上,懸空打字,小臂和大臂夾角90度,大臂自然下垂。雖然我也做不到。


I"ve suffered from severe carpal and cubital tunnel in the past and eventually recovered without surgery.

Adjust your chair and desk to put the keyboard at bellybutton level. I use desk risers and little plastic trays to get my keyboard and mouse to the perfect levels so that my wrist are flat and straight.

You can also try an ergonomic keyboard such as the Kinesis KB500 Contoured Keyboard. The shape takes a while to get used to, but once you do, it"s a much more natural angle for your wrists and forearms.

Use a soft arm support, such as the Imak Cushion. And avoid leaning on your forearms. It helps to either adjust your seatback to sit very upright or to use a standing desk.

Switch to a lighter mouse. Moving a mouse may not seem like a lot of stress on your hands, but you"re actually gripping and lifting the mouse every time you shift it. Hours of lifting the mouse adds up.

Better yet, learn the keyboard shortcuts for the programs you use or set custom ones. Using the keyboard is much less strain on your hands; it"s much less work to push down on a key than to move a mouse and click.

If this all seems like a hassle, then trust me when I say it"s all worth it compared to having severe carpal and cubital tunnel and tendonitis. During the worst symptoms, I couldn"t grab door knobs, tie my shows, use chopsticks, grip a steering wheel, grip my toothbrush, hold a pen, use a mouse or any number of everyday activities. Slightly exerting my hands caused total numbness and pain up my arms. It"s not worth it.
