香港科技大學EE專業怎樣？

卧槽，我感覺我的簽名很適合回答這個問題誒。

先來一點官方的數據：

1) ECE@HKUST was ranked No. 17 in world by QS University Rankings by subject in 2012

2) Pico-Projectors were developed in ECE@HKUST by our display group. Their technology has 70% of the market share for pico-projectors.

上面的ECE(Electronic and Computer Engineering) 就是EE所屬的部門。從數據可以看出來，科大EE的兩大王牌，一個是無線通信wireless，一個是微電子IC design。而事實也的確如此，科大的IEEE fellow有13個，做無線的具體有多少不太清楚，但僅僅我認識的就有三個。院長Letaief和首席教授Ross. D. Murch都是搞無線的，再加上一個兩年就拿下劍橋Ph.D在IEEE上發表兩百多篇paper的Vicent，這樣的陣容已經夠碉堡了。從paper的質量來看：

另外教授們都非常敬業，學術水平和授課質量都非常高。跟國內最大的區別在於上課時講精不講泛，很多課都沒有固定教材，教授對於某個比較難懂的知識點會反覆講，對於不太重要的細節則一嘴帶過，課後自己回去看書。很多教授都有大量的工業界經驗，所以講課的時候會舉很多業界的例子，附帶一句我不是隨便編一個例子啊你們學的這些東西是真真正正有用的。個人感覺上的每一節課都如同一次洗禮，每上完一節課都感覺自己的知識在不斷增進。而在哈工大讀了四年通信，唯有沙學軍教授讓我有這樣的感覺。

在科大，不管你是院長還是首席教授，再牛逼也是要給學生講課的。有一次晚上聊天，舍友說今天才知道原來給我們上課那個詭異老頭是中科院的院士。麻痹遙想當年哥讀本科的時候只有在照畢業照的時候才好不容易一睹院士尊容，真心能感覺到科大的誠意。

最後說一件事，iphone5剛上市的時候科大ECE就開了一次講座，號稱解剖"iphone5"。邀了系裡8位大牌教授輪流介紹iphone5裡面哪些地方會涉及到他們所講的課，當時真的是高朋滿座，整個演講廳連走道都坐滿了人。讓你知道學的東西是有用的，而不是為了考完試混一張文憑。當時校長也去了，和國內的前呼後擁不同，他偷偷跑到角落裡面和Vicent碎碎念，不時帶笑望一下滿堂的學生。

科大給我的感覺就是這樣，注重實際，也很溫馨。

faculty質量非常高，近幾年發展迅速，實力可算是世界一流級別。

截至2017年底，科大工學院的IEEE Fellow 已經達到40人，這只是一個院而已。

一流師資，一流硬體，一流環境，一流學術氛圍

一學長發了7篇sci(質量不太了解，但是上了學校和天津市新聞)去了港科，開始還很費解。受教了～
