如何通過高盛的面試？

我是應屆生，想進入高盛實習。

廢話可忽略：今天我一個朋友，NYU畢業的。她面了8輪總共18個面試官才拿到高盛的Offer，無數個夜晚給我打電話吐槽「老娘為什麼這麼累，為什麼對高盛這麼有執念？」
不過可喜可賀，她可以睡好多天了。由於姐的工作原因，我管她要了高盛面試真題。

不止我朋友一個，只要通過第一輪面試的人都告訴我，今年高盛開始大規模採用線上面試系統。

正所謂科技改變社會，科技改變人生！2016年開始高盛，J.P. Morgan等金融巨頭開始採用一種叫Hirevue的線上面試系統。以後也會有更多企業採用這一高效省錢的應聘系統。

高盛已經開始用Hirevue篩選所有美國地區Junior Level的應聘者。這個系統的運行機制是，針對每一個問題，你需要錄下2分鐘左右的回答。而你的回答的評估標準是：和那些已經在該公司（如高盛）工作的「績優股」們的答案相比，相似度有多高。答案越相似，就說明你越Fit。

五大類問題：Fit、IBD、Markets、Tech、Brain Teasers。

Fit Questions

Walk me through you CV.
Which was your preferred class at university?
What are your strengths?
What are your weaknesses?
Which of your skills and experiences make you appropriate for this job?
What motivates you in life?
What would make you satisfied?

Why do you want to work for this division of this bank?
Why do you want this job at this bank?
How do you know you want this job at this bank?

IBD (Investment Banking Division) Questions

Walk me through the three different ways of valuing a company.
Walk me through a DCF.(including WACC)
Walk me through an LBO analysis.
What factors can lead to the dilution of EPS in an acquisition?
If you are in a business that wants to preserve cash, what type of inventory accounting method would you use (LIFO or FIFO) in a time of rising prices, and why?
You』re using multiples to value a company but those multiples are skewed. What do you do?

你能問出這樣的問題說明你在通過高盛面試這條路上仍然任重而道遠。

既然看到了這個問題。。。就試著回答下吧。

首先題主給的條件嚴重不足。

雖然說學校不是決定性因素，也是個因素啊
哪裡的高盛？HK? NY? SF? etc?
想去哪個部門？IB? Securities? 還是PWM?
現在的專業方向？不一定要金融，甚至商科。但是如果你是歷史的就....
你覺得自己有什麼方面比其他人都優秀？

好的，下面講一些比較general的東西。

首先英語能力一定要非常強(regardless of the location)。我不太清楚國內英語教育的狀況，不過六級水平是肯定遠遠不夠的，甚至於TOEFL，因為它只是一個EFL的測試。
人脈非常重要。這一點沒得講。不認識內部人士就找在裡面曾經做過的朋友，沒有的話找學校資源或校友，在沒有的話就只能以自身超高的水平硬著頭皮試下了，不過有了internal referral什麼的機會大很多，不是說錄取率（這個只能看你實力比不比其他candidate好），而是IR之後至少有給你面試一下的機會。
如果之前有其他和高盛同等級(JPM, MS, UBS etc.)或次一個等級的銀行的工作經驗的話（正式或實習或summer），是個plus

暫時就這些。如果題主更新了信息我會試著加點其他的

清北復交+成績極好+英語特別特別好（托福至少要是個110）以上是最基本的要求再往下說就是人要smart and sharp 口才要很好， technical的東西要看的很熟

我只是單純的覺得一個想進GS的人,為啥連搜索不原意用

首先你英語要特別好，其次是你很陽光上進，專業知識是必不可少的，可以去試試實習生

你提供的信息不夠。至少提供下面三條信息吧：

1 應屆本科生，研究生，還是博士生？

2 什麼學校，什麼專業？

3 希望進入高盛哪個office, 什麼部門，什麼職位？

清華經管好幾年沒有本科生申上gs了

英語流利，top2，top10金融專業。當然如果有個好爹，一切無所謂

有個名單的。985有幾所，但是真正校招的主力還是清北復交四所，而且都是非核心部門，operation和IT部。你懂的嘛，打雜。前幾年學校醫學院有個高盛全球領袖項目候選人，感覺祖上冒青煙的感覺。清北復交，理工科、計算機、數理統計專業比純金融專業更有優勢。
