有意思、很形象的英文單詞有哪些？

碰到兩個英文單詞覺得特別可愛
一個是heartbreaker，有中文翻譯成「萬人迷」，感覺非常棒；
一個是merry-go-around
想知道還有沒有類似這樣子的單詞

我覺得最有意思同時也是最自洽的單詞是clam，

因為clam既有蛤的意思，也有悶聲大發財的人的意思。

我個人認為本身很形象生動的單詞，都是在其他語言中不好找到準確翻譯的

比如英文中的

【push-over】 (沒原則的濫好人)

【cheesy】 (狗血肉麻，就像芝士被拉開的樣子，經常用來形容爛片的台詞情節等)

等等

比如中文裡的【傲嬌】【給力】【呆萌】【曖昧】等等

說到這個扯點別的我男朋友是韓國人我倆平時講英語

有一天他問我我的某女生朋友A 跟某男B 到底是什麼關係

我腦子裡第一個浮現出的詞是曖昧

我其實個人認為我英語水平還是不錯的，

然後我就試圖把這個stage翻譯給他

實！在！是！太！難！了！

我只能用英語描述「嗯，就是呢，兩人互相有好感，但是又都沒挑明的戀愛之前的那個階段」

後來我就把中文的字寫給了他，

你看，一個日字旁，一個愛，一個日字旁，一個未，

意思是，還未暴露在太陽下面的愛情。

念做 ai mei，

然後我男朋友說，啊~ai~mei~ ?? !!! I got it!

韓語里也是有曖昧的喲~讀音都一樣呢，只是他們通常不用來描述愛情。

那時候我就覺得，這些本身很形象生動的單詞，都是在其他語言中不好找到準確翻譯的，如果恰好有完全同義的單詞，很有可能是同一個或者類似的詞源呢~

而中英文在形成階段相互影響很小，所以這樣的詞應該會超級多~

看看英美大片的片名就知道了~那種一個詞做片名的片子，很多都是這種很生動又很難翻譯的詞。

比如說截止到目前 iMDb 的 top50 電影里：

Whiplash 沒法翻譯吧？中文譯名：爆裂鼓手（台灣譯為：鼓動真我／進擊的鼓手）
