經典恐怖電影《驅魔人》真的是根據真實事件改編的嗎？

如題。。。

無論國內國外，大家都對這個問題充滿興趣，並跟我們一起在探究這個事情的真實性。
第一點：電影中我們受到困擾的主角是一個女孩，相關記載中的受害者是男孩。

第二點：當時（也就是沒過70年代）嗎，美國人真處於一股對「驅魔」有著強烈興趣的時候，人們熱議並且為之恐懼。

第三點：一些「驅魔」細節被人們記錄下來，並將其豐富。
The Daily Mail highlighted some of the spine-tingling details from the exorcism, including some lines taken from the diary of one of the nine priests involved in performing the rite:

? 「(Roland) was awake. The shaking ceased when Father Bowdern blessed the bed with holy water.」-床的晃動

第四點：人們其實尚未找到該男孩與神父。
第五點：人們處於對精神疾病的不了解容易對此種事件進行誇張，並聯繫上「魔鬼」。
第六點：「本片基於真實故事改編」也是一種將觀眾帶入電影的一種方法。

我的結論：所謂的魔鬼附身應該是「偽造事件」或可能是「患有精神疾病」的表現。加之當時人們對這類事情的好奇與熱議，難免會有添油加醋的成分。

這事過去這麼長時間了，沒人說的清楚。而且即使當事人出來作證，也不能說明什麼，加拿大前國防部長不是出來證明外星人真的存在嗎，而且用詞非常確定類似「我就見過」。我覺得也不是誰都相信吧，哈哈。但個人而言，我也曾搜集過這方面的民間真人經歷，我是相信這事發生過的
