印度餐廳里為什麼會有「咖喱牛肉」這種菜?

牛不是印度的聖物么,那提供這種菜的印度餐廳還算是正宗的嗎?


印度本地的餐館通常不會賣牛肉,尤其不會賣瘤牛肉。印度社會已經形成了各種避免宗教衝突的規則或潛規則。穆斯林也會盡量不吃牛肉。但確實有餐館能吃到牛肉,尤其水牛肉。開在國外的印度菜餐館賣什麼菜和印度本地的規則就關係不大了。
另外,牛不是「印度的聖物」。瘤牛是印度教的聖物。印度是一個多宗教的世俗國家。


他們不吃黃牛肉,但是可以吃水牛肉,英文是buffalo 一般菜單上就寫buff


前幾周剛好去吃了北京一家還不錯的印度餐廳,店內廚師經理都是印度人(沒聞到咖喱味兒)。不過他們也不僅僅是做印度菜,菜單上面還有泰式的菜肴。所以印度餐廳出現牛肉咖喱也未嘗不可。其實所有外國風味餐廳或多或少都「入鄉隨俗」。

在英國,印度人很多,自然也有很多印度餐廳。超市也可以隨便買到各種品種的咖喱(其實也是統稱curry的,至少我的印度同學這麼和我說)。在這裡,我轉了一份印度餐廳菜單給你。

Makes an unbeatable combination with appams or pooris.Vadakkan Koyi Biriyani £9.95This is the Malabar variant of that famous Hyderabadi dish that has become the
favourite rice dish of millions. Aromatic masalas, and the combination of rice and
meat makes an attractive package for any feast. Perfumed basmati rice cooked with cubes of chicken, saffron, cashew nut and served with yoghurt raita.Varutharacha Meen Curry 10.95This unusual curry is made by fisherman on board their boats, during long fishing
trips. Telopia is cooked with Indian shallots, red chillies and tamarind juice. This is a

不是印度教的信徒開的,印度還有很多的伊斯蘭教信徒啊...


我人生中吃過最好吃的燉牛肉居然是在孟買的一個中餐館。。。


有些地方是有牛肉的,尤其是一些國際化的大酒店,穆斯林聚居地(海得拉巴),還有一些國際旅遊城市(果阿),因為印度兩大宗教是印度教和伊斯蘭教,所以一般的餐廳為了儘可能多招攬生意都不會出現牛肉和豬肉,但如果出現在菜單上,那會便宜到爆的!(需求不多嘛)不過waiter經常告訴我沒有牛肉
咖喱在我們眼中可能是那種黃黃的象shit那樣的東西...但其實在印度可以理解為醬的總稱,他們的醬種類之多可以寫滿三頁菜單!


沒問題啊,我在孟買吃過好幾次牛排。不過味道實在是。。水牛肉。還是不要嘗試了..別信wait吹噓的進口牛肉。我在一家很高檔的義大利餐廳吃到再三確認過的進口牛肉也是水牛肉!!!


有可能是正宗的,即使是印度教徒,只要是賤民,那就無所謂了。


印度有許多宗教,牛在印度教中地位很高,但在伊斯蘭教中就是可以實用的。看你進的印度餐館是哪個宗教的了。


這個店主一定不是印度教徒 印度教教義 牛是神獸不得食用 不得使其耕作
