可吸收止血海綿需要多長時間才能被完全吸收？

先說答案：不同種類的可吸收止血海綿可以被吸收的時間不同：
有的7-14天，有的3-4周。

市面上常見的可吸收止血海綿有三種：
第一種：再生氧化纖維素止血紗布，我們稱ORC（Oxidized Regenerated Cellulose）

第二種：氧化纖維素止血紗布，我們稱OC（Oxidized Cellulose）

第三種：藥用明膠海綿，我們稱PGS（Pharmaceutical Gelatin Sponge)

三種成份對比區別：

ORC和OC都是植物源，GS是動物源。這個不同決定了可被吸收時間的不同。

第三種：藥用明膠海綿, 3至4周。

Pharmaceutical Gelatin Sponge is a sterile absorbable sponge produced from pharmaceutical gelatin. When it is applied to bleeding skin surface; it completely liquefies within 3 to 5 days. When it is implanted into the organism, it is completely absorbed in approximately 3 to 4 weeks （From Curaspon Brochure).

可吸收止血海綿一般由Gelatin（明膠）製成，在人體內大約需要一個月以上就能完全吸收。
